Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a full-time Fabrication Intern to help bring creative ideas to life, from traditional architectural models to full-scale installations. Our culture is built around a shared passion for making and fabrication. As a small team with diverse backgrounds, we value close collaboration and continuous learning and aim to foster a supportive environment where design exploration is central to our process. Self-motivated individuals will have ample opportunities to build new skills and learn from a wide range of design professionals.

This position reports to the Director of Fabrication and works closely with our Design and Storytelling teams across all our offices.

  • Outline material, dimensional, and hardware requirements
  • Output CAM-ready files for CNC, 3D printer, and other digital fabrication tools
  • Safely operate woodshop equipment
  • Embrace and take part in a collaborative team culture that values problem-solving and knowledge-sharing
Required Qualifications
  • Must currently be pursuing a degree in architecture, industrial design, engineering, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Rhino 3D
  • Experience with parametric design tools, such as Grasshopper
  • Familiarity with woodshop equipment
  • Basic understanding of CNC CAM software, such as Rhino

    CAM or Fusion
  • Strong interest in digital fabrication tools, such as CNC routers, robotic arms, 3D printers, and laser cutters
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong creative problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
