Job Title

Project Architect III – Buildings + Places

Location

Houston, Dallas, and Austin, Texas – On‑site

Responsibilities
  • Lead design process for commercial, industrial, logistics, and interior projects, ensuring innovative and functional solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to integrate architectural and technical solutions.
  • Prepare and oversee detailed design documentation, drawings, specifications, and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes.
  • Support client engagement through presentations, design reviews, and addressing inquiries.
  • Work closely with senior architects and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a strong focus on design excellence, environmental sustainability and innovative construction methods.
  • Communicate effectively, presenting ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Apply analytical and creative problem‑solving skills to overcome complex design challenges.
  • Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited professional program.
  • Four or more years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Licensed Architect in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain licensure within one year of hire.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and visualization tools such as Enscape or Lumion.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and sustainability practices.
  • Preferred:
    Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Preferred:
    Six or more years of professional experience.
  • Preferred: LEED accreditation or equivalent sustainability certification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in interior projects, including programming, space planning, material selection, and user‑centric design.
