Gensler Architect – Healthcare

As a Gensler Architect in the Healthcare team, you will combine creativity, technical expertise, and business acumen to design functionally beautiful and sustainable healthcare spaces.

• Coordinate documentation with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)
• Work with project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants across a variety of healthcare projects (medical office buildings, hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, community health centers).
• Resolve complex technical and design issues to produce innovative, constructible solutions.
• Direct production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks, ensuring delivery of documents with design intent and top‑notch technical quality.
• Maintain and oversee the project manual and specifications, conduct on‑site observations, and document site reviews.
• Process submittals, substitution requests, and address RFIs during construction.
• Interface with building and permitting officials during permitting and construction phases.
• Participate in financial performance of projects and review proposals and contracts.
• Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
• Establish and maintain productive client relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
• Registered/Licensed Architect.
• 10+ years (preferred) of related experience on healthcare projects, from feasibility studies to master planning.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and codes.
• Highly proficient with Revit.
• LEED AP (or in process) preferred.
• Expertise with building codes, standards, and building structures, able to lead and guide teams and clients with confidence.
• Flexible to focus on concurrent projects at various stages of development.
• Quick learner who thrives in a fast‑paced work environment.
