About

the Opportunity

Based in the heart of Houston, this firm has built a strong reputation for delivering beautifully functional outdoor environments that enrich lives and inspire connection. As a Landscape Architect, you will play a key role in shaping residential and urban landscapes that reflect both client visions and ecological responsibility. You will work alongside architects, designers, and planners in a collaborative setting where your voice and creativity matter.

What

They’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in residential landscape design (experience in Texas climates and plant materials is a major plus).
  • Strong design and technical proficiency with tools such as Revit, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a clear understanding of site planning, planting design, hardscape detailing, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience in project coordination or management is a big advantage.
  • Strong communication skills – someone who can articulate ideas clearly to clients and collaborate smoothly with team members.
  • A self‑starter with a passion for high‑quality design, sustainability, and creating spaces people truly love.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and support the design and documentation of residential and mixed‑use landscape projects from concept to completion.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate vision into stunning, functional outdoor environments.
  • Manage aspects of project development including site analysis, planting plans, construction documentation, and material selection.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design integrity and technical feasibility.
  • Handle project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, ensuring deliverables meet expectations and deadlines.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with Houston’s local zoning regulations, climate‑responsive strategies, and sustainable practices.
What Makes This Firm Stand Out

A creative and collaborative culture where your ideas and growth are prioritized. A diverse portfolio of award‑winning work, with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects in residential, civic, and mixed‑use development. Based in Houston, a city that’s seeing exciting growth and transformation – and you’ll be part of that journey. A workplace where design excellence meets down‑to‑earth leadership – no egos, just great work and great people.
