Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, versatile Project Designer to join our team and help amplify our story.

Responsibilities

Design Concept

  • Conceive a design concept and material palettes that embody the client’s business goals and overall story.
  • Develop and coordinate detailed design concepts with defined program and project-design criteria.
  • Assist in facilitating interior design efforts and project teams, including design direction and client engagement.

Design Deliverables

  • Coordinate integration of basic engineering systems into the overall project design.
  • Self-check work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and compliance with PDR project standards and checklists.
  • Participate in design reviews, charrettes, and pin-ups.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, partners, and consultants during schematic and design development phases.

Culture and Career Development

  • Collaborate with and mentor junior staff.
  • Demonstrate curiosity about design, materials, and products.
  • Support tasks within project teams and studio activities; maintain open communication within the team and with leadership.
  • Engage in internal and external events to expand knowledge of products and materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA or NCARB-accredited school.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Professional licensure pursuit strongly preferred.
  • Sustainable certification (LEED, Fit Well, or WELL Building) is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership abilities to motivate and inspire teams; mentoring mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey design strategy internally and to clients.
  • Self-motivated, research-driven, disciplined, and well-organized; creative with a drive to explore new ideas.
