CAD Drafter

CAD Drafter – In-Office Position

Direct hire; up to 40K for full time (open to a part-time team member @ $19 per hour)

** Highly motivated individual with interest in commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use developments

Duties:

• Have an active role on multiple projects from concept to completion
• Plan and administer minor adjustments to complete working drawing sets
• Independently execute assignments and arrive at solutions by receiving directions on project objectives from the Project Manager and Principal
• Ensure compliance of construction drawings to quality control standards and best practices of the office
• Participate in team meetings to resolve technical issues
• Review accuracy of calculations, estimates, and plans
• Assemble drawing deliverables according to standard operating procedures
• Meet project schedules and assigned deadlines set by Principal or Project Manager

Qualifications:

• Must either be enrolled in an accredited architecture, landscape architecture, or equivalent degree program at an accredited university and have completed, at a minimum, the second year of curriculum OR be currently enrolled in a 2-year accredited drafting program for architectural drafting at a technical school or community college and be in the last semester of the program OR have a minimum of 1-year of experience working in an architectural office plus an accredited degree from a college or technical school in architectural drafting
• MUST be fluent in AutoCAD 2018, or most current version; skilled in Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Good verbal communication skills, team player spirit, and willingness to learn and contribute

Other:

• Must pass full background check and drug testing
• Will work with student schedules for part-time roles
• Full-time position will come with benefits including retirement plan and insurance
• Work hours are 8 – 6 M-Th, and 8 – 12 Friday
