Shape the Future of Engineering Excellence

A leading global structural engineering consultancy is expanding and seeking a driven BIM Manager to join its growing team. This is a high‑impact leadership role where you will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to drive BIM excellence across complex, large‑scale projects.

This is an opportunity to join a business that is not just growing, but consistently outperforming the market while delivering innovative engineering solutions across some of the world’s most demanding sectors.

About the Company

We are an internationally recognised structural engineering firm with a strong reputation for technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration. With over 350 professionals across multiple U.S. and international offices, the business has built a platform for sustained growth and is on a clear trajectory to exceed 1,000 employees by 2030.

Despite global economic challenges in recent years, the company has continued to scale thanks to a resilient strategy focused on stable, high‑demand sectors including mission critical, commercial, institutional, aviation, and healthcare. Their ability to thrive is further strengthened by an in‑house manufacturing capability, enabling full control over quality, cost, and programme delivery, as well as a deep commitment to cutting‑edge technology, automation, and AI to enhance speed, efficiency, and client outcomes.

The Role

As BIM Manager, you will take ownership of BIM strategy and execution across multiple projects, ensuring best practices, quality, and innovation are embedded at every stage of the project life‑cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement BIM execution plans, standards, workflows, and quality control processes aligned with project goals
  • Lead BIM strategy and delivery across multiple concurrent projects
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high‑performing BIM team
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless BIM integration
  • Oversee the implementation and optimisation of BIM tools including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Enforce BIM standards through regular model audits, reviews, and quality checks
  • Lead clash detection and coordination across disciplines to minimise design conflicts
  • Act as the primary escalation point for BIM‑related challenges and technical issues
  • Facilitate coordination meetings to resolve design and construction clashes effectively
  • Prepare and present BIM reports, performance insights, and progress updates to stakeholders
  • Manage BIM resources, budgets, and delivery schedules to meet project deadlines
  • Support wider project planning by identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
What You Bring

You will have 10+ years of experience in BIM management within construction, architecture, or engineering, along with a proven track record of leading BIM teams on large‑scale, complex projects. Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD is essential, alongside a strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and project delivery across the full construction lifecycle.

Experience working with cloud‑based collaboration platforms such as BIM 360 or Procore is advantageous, and relevant certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional are a plus. You will bring strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively in fast‑paced environments. A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams are key to success in this role.
