Sr. Interior Designer - Gaming + Hospitality

Montgomery Roth, a division of Shive-Hattery, located in Houston, TX, is seeking a full-time Interior Designer with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

• Engage with the project team from programming/scope definition, design, and documentation through implementation.
• Collaborate with the project architect and/or Interior Design team on all aspects of project delivery.
• Assist in design presentation development.
• Produce Revit/BIM models and project documentation.
• Follow project development and production standards.
• Participate in continuous career training and education.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.
• NCIDQ Certification or the ability to become certified.
• Ability to develop, communicate, and present design concepts with the project team, the client, and outside vendors/agencies.
• Experience or interest in working on hospitality projects.
• Proficiency with Revit, Sketch‑up, Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite, and related graphic software.
• Current knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment; including industry standards for selection, procurement, and installation management of such items.
• Excellent communication skills.
• AutoCAD experience: 8 years.
• Revit experience: 8 years.
• Interior Design experience: 8 years.
• Adobe InDesign experience: 8 years.
• Adobe Photoshop experience: 8 years.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience: 8 years.
