Job Overview

Senior Occupancy Planner – Occupancy Planning and Management team. This role is onsite 3 days per week in Houston, TX. The Occupancy Planner solves dynamic workplace challenges using software and business intelligence tools to optimize properties under the workplace strategy. The position is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and updating space data, responding to space requests, and supporting project implementation.

• Track, analyze, and update space data to develop scenarios and options for the client’s real estate portfolio across the Americas.
• Program space requirements, create stack plans, block plans, adjacency diagrams, migration plans, and move sequencing.
• Respond to Real Estate team and end‑user requests for incremental office space and resolve workplace issues.
• Generate space programs and present solutions aligned with workplace strategy and business requirements.
• Produce stacking plans, allocation plans, and test‑fits using Adobe, Sketch Up, AutoCAD.
• Manage space requests and churn moves through to completion, including incremental furniture changes, densification, restacking, renovations or new builds.
• Support the implementation of major projects, tracking occupancy, allocations, and phased moves.
• Maintain space types, business org allocations, neighborhoods, and other records in CAFM/IWMS system.
• Maintain office floorplan layouts in AutoCAD and produce furniture/layout test-fits.
• Support office reservation systems and perform administrative updates for space layout changes.
• Gather and validate occupancy data across client portfolio to measure utilization and office efficiency.

• Diploma level qualification or higher in real estate, architecture, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in occupancy or space planning for corporate clients, or related facilities functions.
• Knowledge of office design principles, floor plans, occupancy utilization, and workplace trends.
• Experience with hybrid working, sharing ratios, collaboration space, and specialized spaces.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot, V‑lookup, charts, formulas) and PowerPoint (graphics, layouts, storytelling).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret utilization data and identify optimization opportunities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Adobe, Sketch Up, or similar tools.
• Experience with CAFM/IWMS systems and office reservation tools desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to interact with senior‑level clients.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to consolidate data into presentations.
• Fluency in English; U.S. work authorization required, no visa sponsorship.
