Senior Interior Designer

The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept through completion, overseeing programming, space planning, and design development across a variety of project types. This full-time, on-site role in Houston, TX involves creating design concepts, preparing presentations, selecting FF&E, and coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is realized. The individual will produce and review construction documentation, maintain project schedules, and uphold quality standards throughout the design process.

The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior team members, contribute to design reviews, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver functional, aesthetically compelling, and client-centered interiors.

• Strong interior design and architecture skills, with experience leading design projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Expertise in space planning, with the ability to organize functional layouts that support user experience and project goals.
• Proficiency in construction drawings, including preparing detailed documentation and collaborating effectively with contractors and consultants.
• FF&E knowledge, including sourcing, specification, and coordination of furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with design concepts and budgets.
• A degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field, and several years of interior design experience, preferably at a senior level.
• Competency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite), plus strong communication and presentation abilities and experience with client-facing responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate in an inclusive, professional studio environment.
