Summary Position requires proficient use of Autocad to modify existing CAD drawings and occasionally create new ones using BCM standard layers. It will also require use of Space Mangement system and database to merge room drawing data with database using provided database functionality. Occasional use of predesigned reports for reporting space metrics and square footages to users and management requesting space data.
Job Duties
- Maintains space database and drawings making updates to floor plans and space database as needed.
- Makes use of vendors FMCAD software to facilitate drawing and database updates and run pre-designed reports as needed.
- Provides requested drawings and floor plans of BCM space in both electronic and hardcopy formats to department administrators and Facilities management as needed.
- May require occasional field duty to physically visit any space in question for accurate measurements to keep space inventory updated.
- Works with Facilities project managers to design and modify architectural drawings.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Wireframe or 2D Architectural drawings.
- Autocad Certificate.
- Team player who can prioritize and manage time wisely.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
