Interior Design Planner
We're searching for an Interior Design Planner to support the planning, organization, and implementation of space planning, product procurement, and other interior design work, ensuring project alignment with departmental needs, system requirements, and applicable codes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities- Coordinates, organizes, and participates in design activities on medium- to large-scale projects
- Acts as the owner's representative for the interior design and furnishings scope of a project
- Works with the project management team and design consultants and architects on space planning and conceptual floor plans
- Participates in the selection and presentation of furniture, furnishings, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
- Collects and manages information required to submit furniture requisitions and tracks purchase orders
- Reviews interior-related invoices and processes them for payment
- Develops project scope, budget, and schedule based on customer needs and departmental standards
- Prepares drawings and furniture plans in AutoCAD and other related design software
- Coordinates with internal resources and external vendors to procure furniture, IT, construction, and cabling services as defined by project scope and budget
- Oversees and manages projects in accordance with Interim Life Safety Measures, Infection Control, and other regulatory requirements
- Provides on-site supervision during installation activities, when required
- Processes final payments, closes project budgets, and distributes project documentation to appropriate departments
- Reviews and keeps furniture and interiors standards current on an ongoing basis
- Participates in the selection and research of project design materials, furnishings, and fabrics
- Maintains the interiors resource library and product samples in an organized manner
- Proactively identifies issues and takes appropriate action to achieve resolution
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree Interior Design or a related field of study preferred
- 1-year Interior design experience, which may include furniture selection, specification and/or drawing production required
- Healthcare interior design experience preferred
