Sodexo seeks a Manager, Space Planning and Design Management to lead planning and design for food service and facility environments. In this role, you will develop layouts, programming, and design standards that enhance safety, efficiency, and guest experience across corporate, healthcare, education, and government sites. You will coordinate with operations, facilities, architects, and contractors to execute projects on time and on budget.
Using data-driven space utilization analysis, you'll recommend improvements, support capital planning, and ensure designs reflect Sodexo's quality of life, diversity, and sustainability values.
Responsibilities
- Lead space planning and interior layout strategies for client and Sodexo facilities
- Develop and review design concepts, drawings, and specifications with vendors and partners
- Coordinate end-to-end design and construction projects, timelines, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and building standards
- Collaborate with operations, facilities, and food service teams to optimize workflow and guest experience
- Analyze space utilization data and recommend improvements for efficiency and capacity
- Manage relationships with architects, designers, and contractors
- Prepare presentations, plans, and documentation for stakeholders and leadership
- Support capital planning and long-term facility master planning
- Oversee change management for moves, expansions, and renovations
