SummaryThe Department of Otolaryngology is currently seeking a clinical Assistant Professor for a growing need at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital. The Department has introduced new procedures and groundbreaking therapies in otology, laryngology, head and neck cancer, sinus, and skull base surgery to patients coming to the TMC for care.
Job Duties- Multidisciplinary
Collaboration:
Working with other specialists such as oncologists, radiation oncologists, and speech-language pathologists for comprehensive care. - Primary focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancers affecting the larynx (voice box) and other head and neck regions.
- Participating in clinical or basic science research projects related to head and neck cancer. Presenting research findings at conferences and publishing in peer reviewed journals.
- Assisting in training and mentorship of residents and medical students.
- MD or DO Degree
- Board Certified /Eligibility from the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
- Preferred:
Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery
