SummaryThe Department of Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is seeking a physician to join the Division of Transfusion Medicine & Coagulation. The academic appointment will be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine. Faculty at Texas Children's Hospital hold full-time academic appointments in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine and are expected to contribute to the department's educational and scholarly missions.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. TCH is the largest children's hospital in the United States and consistently ranks among the top children's hospitals in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report. In addition to its extensive pediatric services, TCH has a high-volume Obstetric service with approximately 6,500 annual deliveries and an Adult Congenital Heart Program.
Our ECMO program holds a Platinum designation by ELSO, and our VAD program leads the nation in both volume and outcomes. The Heart Center has been ranked #1 in the nation by USNWR for nine consecutive years. The Coagulation Laboratory is state-of-the-art and recognized as one of the finest in the country.
