Position Overview:

A well-established, physician-let private practice in Alvin, TX is seeking a board certified or board eligible Sports Medicine Physician to join a thriving and respected community clinic. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-volume practice with deep roots in the area, serving loyal patients since 1990.

The ideal candidate will be a general and sports medicine orthopedic surgeon 5 days per week. Fellowship training is preferred. The incoming physician will work alongside experienced and bilingual medical assistants in a 12-room clinic outfitted with Athena EMR.

Practice Highlights:

• Join a long-standing solo private practice with a loyal patient base
• General and sports medicine with surgical procedures 5 days/week
• Full schedule averages 30-40 patients per day
• Very flexible clinic hours between 8a - 6p
• No advanced practice providers (patients prefer physician-only care)
• 2 experienced MAs (Spanish-speaking)
• Bilingual not required
• No set call, but hospital call is available
• EMR:
  Athena (clinic), EPIC (hospital)
• Partnership track available

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board certified or eligible in sports medicine or relevant field
• Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain full license)
• Comfortable managing a busy clinic. (delete remainder of this sentence)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Team player interested in long-term growth and ownership opportunity
