Join our team as a Locum Physician – OB Hospitalist and make a meaningful impact on patient care through flexible, high-quality medical service. We are seeking dedicated and skilled OB Hospitalists to provide exceptional obstetric care during 24-hour shifts, offering valuable support to hospital teams and patients alike. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and inpatient care to obstetric patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality maternal healthcare.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during 24-hour hospital shifts.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care, preferably in hospitalist settings.
- Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, 24-hour shift environment.
Skills:
- Prior experience as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens capacity.
- Knowledge of hospital workflows and EMR systems.
- Bilingual capabilities, especially Spanish.
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient obstetric care experience.
- Current ACLS and NRP certifications.
- All candidates must hold active, unrestricted Texas medical licenses.
- Must be eligible for hospital credentialing.
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compensation is at $195.00 per hour.
