Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and inpatient care to obstetric patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality maternal healthcare.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during 24-hour hospital shifts.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.

• Valid medical license to practice in Texas.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care, preferably in hospitalist settings.
• Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, 24-hour shift environment.

• Prior experience as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens capacity.
• Knowledge of hospital workflows and EMR systems.
• Bilingual capabilities, especially Spanish.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient obstetric care experience.
• Current ACLS and NRP certifications.

• All candidates must hold active, unrestricted Texas medical licenses.
• Must be eligible for hospital credentialing.
• Willingness to work 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Compensation is at $195.00 per hour.
