Required Skills:

Valid medical license in Texas with no restrictions
Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related fields
Proven experience in general medicine practice
Ability to perform interview-based exams with physical assessment skills (range of motion, muscle strength testing)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and excellent report-writing capabilities

Nice to Have

Skills:

Prior experience with compensation and pension evaluations
Familiarity with Veterans Affairs procedures
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) proficiency
Experience working independently or in a remote setting

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in primary care or general medicine
Previous experience performing Compensation & Pension exams or similar assessments is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

Travel within the Houston, TX area; local candidates preferred
Availability to start on or around 02/13/2026
Ability to work 4-hour or 8-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling options
Must complete credentialing and onboarding promptly
Participation in required training and adherence to all regulatory standards
