We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neuromuscular Neurologist to join a growing, high-quality neurology program in Houston, Texas. This full-time, outpatient-focused role offers a unique opportunity to build and help lead a comprehensive neuromuscular and neuroimmune service line within a well-supported, patient-centered clinical environment.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, collaborative, and interested in providing longitudinal care for patients with complex neuromuscular conditions while contributing to the development of care pathways, diagnostics, and infusion-based therapies.

Clinical Practice Highlights
  • Adult outpatient neuromuscular and neuroimmune patient population
  • Conditions commonly treated include CIDP, Myasthenia Gravis, ALS, neuropathies, myopathies, radiculopathies, inflammatory myositis, and small fiber neuropathy
  • Dedicated time for EMG/NCS studies, with support for EMG lab oversight and quality initiatives
  • Infusion coordination supported by experienced clinical and operational teams
  • Collaborative referral relationships with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, PM&R, and Neurosurgery
Practice Support
  • Established administrative and clinical support for scheduling, documentation, and prior authorizations
  • EMR optimized for neuromuscular workflows and documentation efficiency
  • Quality and compliance infrastructure supporting audits, inspections, and accreditation readiness
  • Leadership that values physician input and continuous improvement

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency program
  • Neuromuscular and/or neuroimmune fellowship training preferred, or equivalent clinical experience
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Texas medical license
  • Demonstrated competency in EMG/NCS studies (additional training available if needed)
  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical quality
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary neuromuscular clinics preferred
  • Familiarity with immunotherapy-based treatment workflows (prior authorization, monitoring, adverse event management)
  • Interest in referral coordination, quality metrics, and service line growth
  • Knowledge of the Houston healthcare referral environment preferred but not required
