Brief Description
The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is expanding our psychiatry team! We are dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with mental health and IDD needs. Our services include outpatient, emergency, and jail-based clinical settings in Harris County. As the local mental health authority, we strive to provide high-quality, accessible care. We are actively seeking a Psychiatrist - Child to provide psychiatric treatment, including evaluations, medication management, leadership to a multidisciplinary team, and crisis intervention for youth served by MCOT and YCOT. The position may also offer clinical leadership, supervised by the MCOT Medical Director.
Your Role Includes:
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical School and Psychiatric Residency.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
- Board Eligible or Certified in General Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent, or Forensic Psychiatry.
- Current DEA registration and PDMP registration.
