- Valid medical license and certification in obstetrics and gynecology
- Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or in a hospital-based obstetrics setting
- Strong clinical skills in labor management, fetal assessment, and emergency obstetric care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions
Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Additional certifications such as neonatal resuscitation (NRP) or advanced life support (ACLS, ALSO)
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of current obstetric hospitalist experience
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Texas
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025
- Must hold or be eligible for state medical licensure in Texas
- Willingness to comply with hospital policies and procedures
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight and weekend shifts if needed
