Required Skills:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Active medical license in Texas (or eligible for temporary/locum licensing)

Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine

Excellent interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing

Ability to perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and adhere to exam protocols

Nice to Have

Skills:

Prior experience with VA or veteran healthcare services

Familiarity with military or veteran populations

Certification in DME (Durable Medical Equipment), or related credentials

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mobile environment

Preferred

Education and Experience:

MD or DO from an accredited institution

At least one year of clinical experience in general medicine or relevant fields

Prior experience conducting compensation and pension evaluations is advantageous but not required

Other Requirements:

Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Houston, TX or the designated coverage areas

Willingness to perform exams at a VES facility or in your own office

Ability to complete exams remotely or on-site as needed

Eligibility for licensing, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable
