Key responsibilities include managing obstetric cases, providing emergent and scheduled care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Required Skills
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas.
- Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or OB/GYN.
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and fetal monitoring.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Neonatal resuscitation (NRP) certification.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Familiarity with current obstetric guidelines and protocols.
Education and Experience
- MD or DO with at least 2 years of recent practice in obstetrics.
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience is highly desirable.
- Must hold an unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Ability to adapt to varied hospital protocols and workflows.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Travel and credentialing reimbursements provided as applicable.
