Key Responsibilities
Initiate comprehensive health assessments leveraging advanced diagnostic tools.
Identify and address immediate patient needs, utilizing innovative referral systems for long-term management.
Conduct physical examinations and maintain meticulous documentation for seamless patient care coordination.
Engage in collaborative consultations with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cutting-edge treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support data-driven therapeutic decisions.
Supervise and mentor mid-level providers, enhancing team capabilities and healthcare delivery.
Educate patients on cutting-edge health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
Foster a team-oriented environment to enhance patient care and customer service delivery.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including participation in regular safety training and audits.
Commit to lifelong learning by completing annual education programs and staying ahead in medical advancements.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Must be licensed in Texas as an MD or DO
Must have active DEA
Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency or clinical fellowship in Internal Medicine; a current certification in Internal Medicine
Ability to meet Legacy Community Health’s EPIC proficiency requirements.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in a hospital and/or clinic setting.
Must be proficient with all aspects of EMR.
