Make an Impact By:
- Diagnosing and treating autoimmune, inflammatory, and rheumatologic disorders
- Managing chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis, and related diseases
- Developing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based medicine
- Performing joint injections, aspirations, and other rheumatologic procedures
- Managing biologic therapies, DMARDs, and immunosuppressive medications
- Educating patients on disease management, prevention, and wellness strategies
- Collaborating with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, pharmacists, and care coordinators
- Supporting quality initiatives and patient-centered medical home standards
What You Bring:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship
- Current DEA registration or eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
Preferred:
- ACLs certification
- Experience in an FQHC or community health center
- Experience serving underserved populations
