Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to join a growing team in Northwest Houston. This opportunity offers a balanced combination of inpatient and outpatient practice, dedicated clinic and procedure time, and a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Physicians will benefit from established support staff, advanced technology, and comprehensive specialty support.
Practice Info
- Combination of inpatient and outpatient practice
- Dedicated clinic and endoscopy/procedure time
- Established support staff, including experienced Nurse Practitioners and Medical Assistants
- Strong referral base and growing patient demand throughout Northwest Houston
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary practice environment
- Access to advanced technology and comprehensive specialty support
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and other acute and chronic GI conditions
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including Upper endoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, and Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Evaluate and manage patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in hospital consults, emergency coverage, and call rotation responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive care strategies

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Texas medical license
