Houston Methodist Hospital seeks a visionary neurovascular specialist to serve as Chief Physician of the Cerebrovascular Division within the Houston Methodist Neurological Institute in the Texas Medical Center. This premier academic leadership opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong expertise in cerebrovascular care, clinical and translational research, and program development. The incoming Division Chief will lead and grow the division's clinical, academic, and research missions while overseeing outpatient and inpatient stroke services, the Tele Stroke program, carotid duplex services, and stroke fellowship training.
Qualified candidates may also be considered for an Endowed Chair in Cerebrovascular Diseases with an open-rank faculty appointment.

Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the division's clinical, academic, and research missions
- Provide oversight of outpatient and inpatient stroke services, the Tele Stroke program, carotid duplex services, and stroke fellowship training
- Help shape strategic direction in partnership with department leadership
- Expand clinical trials and translational research
- Mentor faculty and trainees

Requirements
- MD or MD/PhD
- Board certified/eligible in Neurology
- Fellowship training or equivalent expertise in cerebrovascular disease
- Demonstrated success in clinical trials, translational research, and extramural funding
- Proven leadership in program development and academic medicine
- Commitment to education, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration
