The 11- bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Kindred Hospital Houston Medical Center provides intensive rehabilitation services for patients recovering from a variety of disabling injuries and illnesses, including:
- Stroke
- Brain injury
- Spinal cord injury
- Neurological disorders
- Orthopedic conditions
- Complex medical and surgical diagnoses
- General debility requiring comprehensive rehabilitation
The program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach designed to maximize functional recovery and facilitate successful transitions back to home and community settings.
Qualifications- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or other qualifying specialty
- Eligible for unrestricted Texas medical licensure
- Strong commitment to patient-centered rehabilitation care
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
