The Music Teacher is responsible for providing instruction, leadership and supervision to students in music classes throughout the year. Experience working with lower, middle, or high school students is preferred. Chair opportunities may be available as well.

• Teach several sections of music courses for lower, middle, or upper school students.
• Serve as an advisor for students ensuring student success.
• Assist with choir or musical theater productions.
• Develop a performing arts curriculum that fosters listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Teaching singing to students from beginner to advanced level.
• Incorporating musical instruments and movement in lessons.
• Preparing students for school concerts and planned music experiences.
• Inspiring and motivating students to extend themselves to after school music clubs.
• Building relationships and mentoring students.

• Bachelor’s degree in music or related field.
• Experience with choirs, guitar, and voice instruction preferred.
• 2 years' teaching experience preferred. All levels of experience welcome.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation and benefit packages are competitive but will differ by school and will typically depend on geographic location, your experience, and your level of degree.
