• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mathematics or a related field.
• Teaching certification or equivalent professional training.
• Strong pedagogical understanding of mathematics instruction, assessment, and differentiation.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.

• Demonstrates expert knowledge of mathematics content and effective instructional practices.
• Designs coherent sequences of lessons that deepen understanding and build complex skills.
• Uses formative and summative assessment to guide instruction, diagnose learning needs, and provide actionable feedback.
• Understands how young people develop and learns to personalize instruction based on ability, background, interests, and learning needs.
