INSTRUCTORS

Overview

Instructors are hired for 7-8 weeks of summer programming or Spring Break sessions. They deliver subject-specific educational content to youth and are not responsible for participant supervision outside the classroom.

Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instructional content

* Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

* Support participant learning and personal success

* Manage classroom disruptions effectively

* Foster creativity, collaboration, and teamwork

* Coordinate with counselors for smooth daily operations

* Communicate with parents/guardians as needed

Schedule and Compensation

* One training day in May (TBD)

* June 1 - July 24 (or equivalent 7-8-week session)

* 30 hours/week: 9 AM-4 PM, one hour lunch

* Pay based on experience and/or field expertise

Qualifications

* Must high school diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

* Certified Teachers

* Individuals with experience working with youth, subject matter experts, and professionals in relevant fields

* Strongly Encouraged:
Those experienced in Architecture, Coding, or Python
