Under general supervision provides outreach and recruitment activities at local high schools and colleges within the United States with the intent to assist students in completing the application process to Texas Southern University. The incumbent will generate inquiries, applications, interviews, campus visits, and enroll prospective students through high-impact engagement activities such as calling, texting, and recruiting prospective students within the assigned market area(s).

Oversees prospective students and applicants to ensure they are aware of the educational programs and processes dles follow-ups on the completion of slate info cards, applications, test scores, transcripts, evaluations, registration, and payments.

Essential Duties Summary

* Establishes relationships to outreach sites to build rapport with location representatives.

* Develops and creates presentations to various groups to solicit student informational cards via CRM.

* Provides university information to prospective students.

* Makes appropriate referrals to colleges and schools.

* Conducts follow-up with prospective students.

* Examines test scores, transcripts, and documents for evaluation.

* Completes transcript evaluations as needed.

* Conducts campus tours and information sessions on and off-campus.

* Collects and analyzes outreach data; prepares daily and weekly status reports of all activities and maintains records and statistical information.

* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range $45,486.69 - $57,995.53 Education

* Bachelor's degree

* Master's Degree in a relevant field preferred

Work Experience

* One (1) to three (3) years of experience.

* Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment or water treatment system.

Working/Environmental Conditions

* Limited standing and/or walking.

* Handling light weight objects.

* Using or carrying equipment.

* Stoop, bend or lift.

* May require routine and overnight travel.

* May require working evenings/weekends.
