Theology
The University of St. Thomas Houston Graduate Program for the "Master of Arts in John Paul II Studies" is looking for an adjunct professor of Theology to teach the course JPII 5308 Vatican II and Sources of Renewal.
This course examines the event, documents, and reception of Vatican Council II as evident through the participation and writings of Cardinal Karol Wojtyla, beginning in his earlier work Sources of Renewal and various later writings as Pope John Paul II. We then study the sources of renewal in the Eucharist, studying especially the documents:
Ecclesia de Eucharistia ("The Church of the Eucharist") and Redemptoris Mater ("Mother of the Redeemer").
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Theology or Philosophy or Medieval Studies or the equivalent with the relevant scholarly and teaching experience.
The University of St. Thomas is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
