Alpha School is seeking reading specialists to deploy an AI-powered literacy program that reshapes early reading instruction.

• Leading adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
• Creating personalized, engaging sessions that resonate with students and foster a lasting enthusiasm for reading.
• Reviewing student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and identify meaningful trends.
• Partnering with the technology team to assess and refine AI-based literacy platforms.

• Following pre-scripted curricula or standardized scope-and-sequence programs.

Cultivate a passion for reading in early learners.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing small‑group reading interventions to students in early elementary grades.
• Competent in assessing reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independently of published curricula.
• Comfortable using AI and adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interaction data.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.

The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
