Part-Time Federal Funded ESL Interventionists/Tutors (Multilingual Program Support Personnel) @ Instruction Department

(Various campuses: Albright, Alief Middle School, Holub, Killough, Olle, O'Donnell, Elsik, Hastings, and Taylor)

Will work with small groups of students who are emerging bilingual learners.

• Directly support ELLs with in‑class interventions
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Strong desire to make a difference and work with emergent bilingual learners
• Excellent human relations skills
• Knowledge of second language learning preferred
• Experienced certified teacher preferred
• Will collaborate with teachers and ESL Department Chairs
• Will track student progress
• Will participate in ongoing professional development
• As needed for the current school year

Compensation

• Certified Teachers – $30 per hour
• Non‑Certified/Degreed – $25 per hour
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent – $15 per hour
• Retiree rate may differ

As needed throughout the current school year.

The funding for this position is federally funded.

Continuation of the position is contingent upon availability of future funds.
