Class B, 7hrs./day, 176days/yr.
$14.94/hr. $15.34/hr. with para educator certificate or AA degree or higher.
New hires must have a high school diploma/GED.
Responsibilities- Accompany students to their activities.
- Keep students on task and organized.
- Assist students with personal hygiene needs.
- Supervise students in cafeteria, classrooms, playground, and patrol duties.
- Use computer and typing skills.
- Have basic understanding of math, science, reading, and writing skills, with ability to check students’ work.
- Work with students in small groups (or individually, one-on-one).
- Follow both written and oral directions.
- MandT Training and Behavior Management preferred.
- Mobility and ability to lift required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Para educator certificate or AA degree or higher preferred.
