  • Deliver curriculum content effectively to Surgical Technology students, ensuring alignment with industry standards and academic objectives.
  • Mentor and guide students in their professional development, fostering a commitment to ethical and competent practice.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies in all instructional activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve curriculum and instructional methodologies.
  • Provide constructive feedback and assessment to support student progress and achievement.
  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Credential from a nationally recognized and accredited credentialing agency.
  • Current CPR Certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of operating room experience or teaching in the field within the last five years, or a combination of both.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required.
  • Three or more years of professional experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and mentor students in an educational setting.
