As teaching faculty, you will design, implement, and facilitate Computer Technology courses, promoting student learning and contributing to the educational environment of the college and community. Adjunct faculty are hired part‑time on a semester‑by‑semester basis and may teach up to five classes per academic year.
Essential Job Functions- Teach Computer Technology courses at a variety of times and locations.
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
- Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
- Utilize a course syllabus following institutional guidelines.
- Meet with and advise students as needed via in‑person, electronic communication, or appointments.
- Evaluate student progress and communicate results promptly.
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.
- Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to collaborative work.

The work is sedentary, requiring occasional walking, standing, bending, and light carrying. No special physical demands are required.
Work Schedule & Conditions- Use of PC workstation, calculator, phone, and general office equipment.
- Interaction with internal and external contacts as needed.
- Work performed in a climate‑controlled office with minimal safety hazards.
- Class hours vary; instructors must meet students outside instruction times.
- At least 3 years of documented experience teaching or working in a related field.
- License and/or teaching certifications for regulated courses, if required.
$55.44 per contact hour.
