Compensation: $20 per hour
Schedule:
Up to 29 hours per week (based on program schedule)
Work Location:
Onsite at assigned program locations, including JA Finance Park Mobile and other Experimental Learning Center (ELC) sites as needed
Travel Required:
Yes – Reliable transportation required
The Seasonal JA Finance Park (JAFP) Coordinator – Mobile supports the execution of JA Finance Park simulations and related programming. This role serves as the on‑site lead during assigned simulation days, ensuring program logistics, volunteer coordination, and classroom transitions operate efficiently and professionally.
This position is primarily assigned to JA Finance Park Mobile programming and requires flexibility to provide onsite support at other Experimental Learning Center (ELC) locations as needed based on program demand.
This is a seasonal, part‑time position working up to 29 hours per week based on program demand.
Primary Responsibilities Simulation Execution & Logistics- Serve as the on‑site lead during assigned JA Finance Park simulation days
- Provide day‑of direction and coordination to support staffers to ensure smooth program execution
- Prepare simulation materials, technology, and program spaces
- Ensure smooth execution of daily logistics and classroom flow
- Facilitate transitions and monitor timing throughout the simulation
- Address minor operational or logistical issues in real time
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and site procedures
- Welcome and orient teachers and volunteers upon arrival
- Provide clear instructions and program expectations
- Serve as the primary day‑of contact during simulation programming
- Assist with volunteer check‑in and ongoing guidance during simulation days
- Support a positive and professional experience for educators and volunteers
- Maintain accurate attendance and required documentation
- Assist with pre‑ and post‑program preparation and cleanup
- Support data tracking and reporting as requested
- Communicate program updates to the VP of Education and Education team
- Collaborate with seasonal support staff to ensure effective daily execution
- Provide onsite program support at other Experimental Learning Center (ELC) locations as assigned, serving in a floater capacity as needed to support organizational programming.
- Travel between locations as required
- Perform other duties as needed to support Education initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in education, nonprofit programs, youth programming, or event coordination preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Ability to manage daily program flow in a structured, fast‑paced environment
- Reliable transportation required
