Description:
The Department of Political Science has openings for part-time, temporary lecturers (adjuncts) to teach first year core courses in US and Texas Constitution and Politics and U.S. Government. Successful applicants may also be asked to teach upper-level undergraduate courses in the areas of political science, depending on student need and applicants’ expertise. Courses are offered in multiple formats, including lecture courses and online instruction.
Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply. Appointments will be made on a semester-by-semester basis, based on student need.

QualificationsA doctoral degree in political science is preferred, but applicants with a master’s degree in political science or a J.D. will also be considered. Previous college-level teaching experience is a plus.
