Testing Associate (Part Time) - Southwest College Staff Pool
Administers, proctors and oversees various assessment while ensuring adherence to testing protocols and maintaining test security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Enforce and adhere to test vendor policies and procedures in coordination with District Testing Services.
- Administer a variety of assessments at colleges, including but not limited to Texas Success Initiative (TSIA), Accuplacer ESL, Accuplacer Advanced Math, GED, and departmental exams for accommodated students.
- Assist the testing coordinator in executing day-to-day responsibilities.
- Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of testing services and program offerings.
- Safeguard the security of test materials and ensure the integrity of each test administration.
- Accurately input and maintain test data as required.
Participate in all training activities. - Read and scribe exams as needed.

Education
Associate degree in Education, Counseling, or a related area is required.
Experience
2 years directly related testing experience in a post-secondary institution required.
1 year supervisory experience in a testing center preferred.
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
- Eligible for GED testing certification by the state.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Proficiency with PC and computerized student record system is preferred.
- Able to work some nights and weekends.
- Required to perform 2 to 4 full testing sessions under a supervisor before assuming duties.
