Description:

The Department of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Houston invites applications for a Lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology position, to begin Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one section of Anatomy & Physiology 1 lecture and four sections of lab in the fall semester and one section of Anatomy & Physiology 2 lecture and 4 labs in the spring.

This is a 9-month non-tenure track appointment. Renewal is contingent upon performance and enrollment needs of the department. Courses will be taught at the UH-Katy campus. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline awarded by July 1, 2026.

Successful candidates will demonstrate broad training, skills in contemporary pedagogy, a strong interest in teaching and a willingness to work collaboratively with their counterparts at the UH-Main campus.

Experience with classroom teaching and course development are advantageous.

Experience with lab course management and instruction are highly desired.
