Job Type: Part-time / Seasonal / Summer. Expected hours: 35 hours per week for 1 week.

Aboutthe Camp
Our Soccer and STEAM Camp is an innovative summer program combining athletic excellence with academic enrichment. Our unique Soccer & STEAM Camp offers campers (ages 5 through 12) a dynamic experience where they sharpen their soccer skills while exploring hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math activities.
STEAM Responsibilities- Serve as an assistant to experienced science teachers who will lead age-appropriate science lessons and experiments aligned with STEAM principles.
- Inspire curiosity through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and small-group challenges.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Supervise campers during instructional periods and transition times.
- Communicate effectively with camp leadership, fellow instructors, and families when needed.
- Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing and shooting.
- Manage behavior effectively to create a respectful and focused atmosphere.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance.
- Organize and oversee practice sessions, drills, and scrimmages.
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among players.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during classes.
- Show up on time and prepared for each class (physically and mentally)
- Pursuing degree in STEM field.
- Prior teaching or camp experience preferred, especially with children ages 5 to 12.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, outdoor/indoor summer camp environment.
- Previous experience either playing or coaching soccer.
- Experience working with students or youth in an educational or athletic setting is great but not required.
