Middle School Math Teacher (.5 FTE)
Qualifications- Valid Professional Educator License
- Middle School Endorsement in Mathematics
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills
- Highly collaborative and exemplary interpersonal skills
- Strong technology skills
- Assess student progress towards targets and standards, providing feedback to students, parents, and administration.
- Communicate clearly and accurately with students and parents to provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with instructional staff, school personnel, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes and achieve classroom objectives.
- Deliver instruction to engage all students, adjusting lessons based on student progress to enhance academic and interpersonal skills.
- Design instructional materials that align with individual learning plans and state and district standards.
- Administer assessments to evaluate student competency and plan for instructional groups.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 30% sitting, 20% walking, and 50% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy indoor environment with work inside about 90% of the time and work outside about 10% of the work schedule.

Salary and benefits to be established in the Negotiated Agreement with the Board of Education. Commensurate with experience, however, the starting salary for the 2026-27 school year is $52,680.79 (salary will be prorated based on FTE).
Evaluation- The Teacher will be evaluated following the provisions of the district's approved evaluation plan.
