Harbor Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated, Christ-centered educator to serve as a Physical Education Teacher. The ideal candidate loves Christ, delights in students, and is committed to academic excellence shaped by a thoroughly Christian worldview. Teachers at Harbor Christian Academy mentor students toward wisdom and virtue while cultivating a love for truth, goodness, and beauty through classical Christian education.

• Instruction & Classroom Leadership:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons aligned with the school’s classical Christian curriculum.
  • Integrate biblical truth faithfully across all subject areas.
  • Employ classical teaching methods.
  • Maintain a well-ordered, joyful, and disciplined classroom culture.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Student Formation:
  • Model Christlike character and professional conduct.
  • Mentor and disciple students through instruction and example.
  • Support intellectual, spiritual, and moral development.
• Collaboration & Community:
  • Collaborate with faculty, administration, and staff.
  • Communicate clearly with parents regarding student progress.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

• Active personal faith in Jesus Christ.
• Agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
• Bachelor’s degree (education or subject area preferred).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Experience in a classical Christian school.
