We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented training professional to support hospital-wide education initiatives within our Performance Improvement department at Behavioral Health Science Center. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering impactful training programs that enhance employee skills, support operational excellence, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in data entry and strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to support training development, reporting, and program effectiveness. This individual will collaborate with departments across the hospital to identify training needs, deliver both technical and professional development programs, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful application of learned skills.
In this role, you will help drive high-quality education programs that empower employees, improve processes, and support organizational goals.
Position SummaryPlans, develops, coordinates, and implements a variety of training courses and programs for departments and/or UT Houston.
Position Key Accountabilities- Performs the training and follow-up support to personnel in technical, skills-oriented, supervisory and management training, and development.
- Instructions employees in various technical skills to enhance their career objectives.
- Develops, coordinates, and presents the training programs to ensure a high quality of instructions.
- Provides and updates instructional media: software, hardware, films, books, recordings, and video tapes to ensure greater comprehension of technical skills.
- Assists departments in determining training needs.
- Supervises the arrangements for locations and materials to be used by the classes, and advises on training methods and procedures.
- May conduct new employee orientation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree in a related field required. May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement.
Minimum Experience3 Years Of Related Experience Required.
Physical RequirementsExerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
