The elementary dean of instruction leads classroom instruction and teacher development across the elementary campuses, working closely with principals, assistant principals, and teachers to elevate student achievement and instructional quality.

• Manage and develop a cohort of elementary teachers.
• Set clear expectations and standards for instruction in all content areas in partnership with school leadership.
• Track and improve student achievement by helping teachers analyze assessment data and adjust instruction.
• Observe classrooms, coach teachers, and monitor teacher progress to ensure outstanding instruction.
• Support teachers with classroom management and effective instructional practices to keep students safe and supported.
• Plan and deliver professional learning opportunities during in‑service days and throughout the school year.
• Complete a one‑year credentialing track to become a YES Prep teacher evaluator.
• Participate in district‑led professional development for instructional leaders.
• Facilitate or support grade‑level planning time for the teacher cohort.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

MUST HAVES

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year institution.
• At least 3 years of exemplary teaching experience.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate or equivalent.

• Exempt, salaried position with salary commensurate with experience.
• Health and supplemental insurance: $0 monthly medical option with $600 HSA contribution and additional benefits (Dental, Vision, Disability, Life). Requires 20+ hours/week for full benefits and 10+ hours/week for medical benefits.
