Adjunct Professor - Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics and Physics is currently seeking adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and student learning in a Christian work environment. We are offering adjunct opportunities for courses including Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Math for Critical Thinking, Finite Mathematics, Precalculus, and possibly Calculus I. Course offerings span daytime and evening sessions.

• Utilize a course syllabus and follow established departmental and institutional guidelines.
• Provide timely, quality access to students via electronic communication and other appropriate methods.
• Evaluate students using established measures to assess progress toward course objectives and inform them promptly.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Submit required paperwork and forms in a timely manner.
• Be available to students outside of the classroom.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Minimum of a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics.
• Ability to teach most freshman level mathematics courses.
• Demonstrate expertise in appropriate and current instructional pedagogy.
