The Moores School of Music at the University of Houston invites applications for the position of Visiting Professor of Music and Interim Director of the Moores School of Music.

• Provide short‑term artistic and academic leadership for the Moores School, overseeing academic programs, operations, and budget.
• Report to the Dean of the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts.
• Serve a twelve‑month appointment.

• Significant experience in academic administration at the level of music department chair or dean.
• Artistic or scholarly record in an area of performance, teaching, research, and leadership.
• PhD required.
