Purpose and Scope: The Manager, Communications and Training Development manages System-Wide Training Development for the Student Success division and is responsible for leading selection, logistics, curriculum development, and budget and resource management for several training development programs and initiatives. The manager will be responsible for the development, preparation, and online facilitation of training needs for faculty and staff as needed by the Student Success division, and train/develop staff system-wide by creating on-demand training curriculum.
The Manager also works across functional units in Student Success to develop training models to be used throughout the system and is responsible for training development, assessment, and continuous improvement in support of system-wide Student Success related initiatives.

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or recurring lifting of moderately heavy items, such as typewriters and record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities, such as above average agility and dexterity.
Work Environment- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project or program management experience
- Experience with developing and delivering professional training in higher education or non-profit organizations
Hiring salary range is $54,528 - $62,708
